Emma has just completed a run as Maisey in Scott Alan’s The Distance You Have Come, and her second sell-out tour as a lead vocalist with the world famous Post Modern Jukebox. Emma is most widely known for her principal roles in a variety of West End productions including Eva Peron in Evita, Elphaba in Wicked, Scaramouche and Meat in We Will Rock You and Donna in Dreamboats and Petticoats. She also performs all over the world as a vocalist at a variety of high end concerts and corporate events.
In addition to her success in musical theatre, Emma continues to perform regularly as a jazz and blues singer to much critical acclaim, with previous residencies and appearances including The Savoy Hotel, Pizza Express Jazz Club, and Ronnie Scott’s. Her one-woman show, Songbird, sold out in the Live at Zedel’s season for Crazy Coqs and was followed by Unforgettable at the Jazz Café for the London Jazz Festival. In 2015, Emma recorded her first EP with Anthony Strong entitled Merry Christmas, Darling and her new EP, Thirty Three and a Third, was released on October 11th this year and is available on vinyl via her website. Both EPs went straight to Number 1 on the iTunes jazz charts and can be found on both iTunes and Spotify. She was also invited to record Mad About the Boy at Abbey Road with the London Gay Big Band for their acclaimed album Brave.
